I never sin anymore after moving to the farm There's no temptation here. First to see the dawn after night watch in the nest. Satisfied with the best. The science of romance provokes a lonely popularity. Asking you to dance with with contradictions unintentionally. Proving how advanced your intellect is next to experts lacking lasting suspense. It's not my fault that you didn't blame me. I think you'd agree. You can't get experience for nothing. The science of romance provokes a lonely popularity. Asking you to dance with with contradictions unintentionally. Proving how advanced your intellect is next to experts lacking lasting suspense. The science of romance provokes a lonely popularity. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you there misleading them like wandering stars. Even if there were time to spare flinging broken wondering shards of memories reciting the script underneath a paradigm shift. In the last days divisions. Apart from the love cascade. Motives met with the mark of Cain. Apart from the love cascade. Moreover I see your fear inflicted on mindless souls. Finding fault with everyone. Seducing to gain control. Your mouth speaks scandalous things. Flattery manipulating. In the last days divisions. Apart from the love cascade. Motives met with the mark of Cain. Apart from the love cascade.

When the raincloud came to visit me I expected it to drip hidden messages only I could intercept yet unlikely to predict. It told me that the drought was over now but only I could feel the rain. While the grass was getting greener over here other people would complain. Conditioned to accept mistakes. What false perfection practice makes. Borrowed experience forsakes. Entrance locked behind the gates. Into the city filled with fakes. Achieving failure imitates. The evolution back to apes. Profound amount of faith it takes. Gratuitous hiatus hates the extra ones. The extra ones.

Take A Ride 05:32
Is this a different world One that propels us forward Into not one but many worlds Fractured traces of being Turned around from where the beginning used to be Yesterday’s forgotten glimpses Etched beneath a dream In the language of symbols Standing on clouds of guessing games If I had my way Assuming I don’t have it now No matter how hard you try Should Have never arrives Let someone else take a ride No matter how hard you try Would Have never arrives I’m gonna let my ticket expire Next time you look around Notice who’s not looking back The rest are looking ahead At the version of what’s in their mind Projecting a god in the mirror Of convenient self deceit Wish someone would look at me The way you look at yourself No matter how hard you try Should Have never arrives Let someone else take a ride No matter how hard you try Would Have never arrives I’m gonna let my ticket expire No matter how hard you try Should Have never arrives Let someone else take a ride No matter how hard you try Would Have never arrives I’m gonna let my ticket expire Is this a different world One that propels us forward

Dig in the dirt To the core of the earth Underneath all the hurt Until you find your treasure Sand and gravel Lives unravel Come and go They don’t know why They don’t know how They don’t know where to go Bury it now Bury it down Bury it deep enough Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets You don’t know What you’re going to think next Coded experience Making simple rules complex Bury it now Bury it down Bury it deep enough Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets We don’t know why We don’t know how We don’t know where to go Bury it now Bury it down Bury it deep enough Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets Roots in the mud Holding back your heart Twisted and deep Keeping sordid secrets Keeping sordid secrets

You have given me the best. Your counsel and correction makes me praise you more. Your pleasant path leads to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you. Those who yield to weakness have unending troubles. I don’t hang out with them. Lord, I have chosen You alone as my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, my portion. I leave my destiny and its timing in Your hands. Timing in Your hands. You won’t abandon me to death. I won’t see corruption in this resurrection life, Your pleasant path leads to pleasant places. My confidence will never be shaken because I’m close to you. When I don’t know what to do next I get so much wisdom from Your whispers at night. The path to bliss brings me face to face with You. My heart and soul Explode with joy Every moment Because of You.

It’s hiding in the architecture Embedded in complete conjecture Alluding to a second nature Giving rise to foolish pride Interacting with a fundamental Uncalculated identity trap You wanted to avoid a lecture Implicating any added pressure on your ego Forming painful measure Of wrong advice It’s no surprise That you don’t say anything about it Personality identity trap Lost in the logic of the operation No one can live without a reputation Lost in the logic of the operation No one can live without a reputation Lost in the logic of the operation No one can live without a reputation Delusional fact Reality gap Identity trap Identity trap

Blue Nile 06:16
The rising tides send the lions into hiding Next to marmalade land mines every mile Blue Nile The natives forget that the lions can’t get wet Because their mane are delicate But that’s the style Blue Nile When it rains if anyone complains The corporation would take the blame If it wasn’t the religion of all the natives Along Blue Nile Blue Nile is a place where you can be yourself Even if you’re someone else who You don’t know very well Say hi to your mom for me Didn’t know she’s a dancing queen Built like a car and dirty sweet Mirror world in reverse Emerging melodies change the rules Inefficient as power tools Echo chambers are made in school A parallel universe We must do something about your friends Entanglement’s got them at the ends Instead we’re tending to pretend The chorus should be a verse Blue Nile is a place where surprises sound like truth Without the judgement or the sting Yet seldom understood Beguiled by a face with eyes that have a view That you can’t see but they see you When you’re not in the room A smile penetrates disguises worn by few Innocent deceivers who are Ordinary fools

You didn’t choose me I have chosen you To make my impact last It comes at a cost The world’s gonna hate you So just get over it Keep my commands It shows that you love me And love each other well I am the vine You are the branches Ask anything You desire I am the vine You are the branches Ask anything You desire I am the vine You are the branches Ask anything You desire You’re waiting for me but I’ve been waiting on you To act like you believe that every word is true Put your money where your mouth is I won’t be crucified again I am the vine You are the branches Ask anything You desire…

about

🔥 Interlude NFT from Surplus album opensea.io/collection/surplusmusic

It was the summer of 2020. COVID-19 disrupted the world economy. Business as usual jolted to a halt. New York City shut down. The isolation of quarantine allowed long dead passions to effervesce from neglected corners of his mind. All of the sudden, the pursuit of creative expression without the need for monetary compensation started to seem like a valuable use of time.

On Easter Sunday, 12 April 2020, Sean Allen Fenn committed to writing a song every day for 100 days as an exercise in creative discipline. By mid-August 2020, over 100 songs had been written. Half of them were generative electronic songs, 10 of which appear on the first of two new records by Sean Allen Fenn: Freedom Gained Precision Lost (Sept 4 2020). The second release, which consists of 11 lyrical songs is titled, Surplus.

Surplus by Sean Allen Fenn street date: January 7, 2022. Pre-order it December 10, 2021. The Love Cascade is the first single from Surplus. Street date: December 24, 2021. Pre-save November 26, 2021.
